New Flash Player

NEW FLASH PLAYER!!!
 
 
This player gives you the choice of putting on multiple mp3s
at the same time, the best thing is that you can
have as many as you want.
 
I've currently got 64 songs on mine so pick a song you like
while browsing my space.
 
At least you now users get a choice of what songs they wanna hear
when browsing your space...
 
LET'S GET STARTED!!!
 
For this flash player to work you will first need to make sure
you have the media player on your space, if not
CLICK HERE and follow the tutorial.
 
Once you have the media player on your space you need to
RIGHT CLICK HERE and select "save target as..."
 
You have now recieved a document,
 please ignore this for the moment.
 
Now RIGHT CLICK HERE and select "save target as..."
 
You will now have 2 files on your desktop but 1st we will work
with this one (see image below)
 
 
Now DO NOT double left click this icon...
Right click and select "open with..."
And then choose the notepad.
 
You should now see this (click image to enlarge)
 
 
 
Before you carry on with this tutorial you must have your
music uploaded. Flash player only supports mp3 so wmv,
wma etc will not work.
 
If you havn't uploaded music before it is pretty easy,
these 2 i find are the best ones..
Both pretty easy to use.
 
Now look at the image below.
 
 
DO NOT change the area marked in red!
The file you have copyed to your pc is set to play 8 songs. If you
want to add more than 8 songs you just copy one of the middle
lines from < to />.
 
DO NOT paste the line at the top or the bottom of the page,
put it in the middle. If you want to have less than 8 songs
just delete how many you want.
 
Now you have to fill the data in.
"URL CODE HERE" Here you have to enter the url of the
uploaded song, please make sure you enter the code between " and "
and that you DO NOT remove them.
 
"ARTIST - SONG" Here you enter the name of the Artistand the name
of the song. Again, please DO NOT remove these " ".
 
I'm not quite sure what text is supported so when inputting the
Artists name and Song title i'd recommend sticking to just
letters and numbers.
 
When you have finished inputting all the URLS, Artists and Song
titles DO NOT just save the document.
Go to the top left of this document where it says FILE and
click it, now go down to "save as" and click that.
 
Now near the bottom where it says SAVE AS TYPE, to the right of that
it will say TEXTFILE. click the arrow to the right of it and change it
 to ALL FILES. Now click save.
 
Nearly done now lol.
Now you have to upload both files, the xml file (the one you have
just been editing) and the other one, which is the media file.
 I USED FILELODGE
When both files are uploaded you need to copy the shortcut of the
media file (wmv) which is Mp3player.wmv by right clicking on it and
selecting copy shortcut.
 
Now go to your space and in the url field of the Media Player
right click and select paste. Now press save at the bottom of the
player and thats it.
 
If for any reason it hasn't worked, go through this tutorial
again but SLOWLY lol If you rush through this you will mess up

After register your wall they will send you an email.

Check your Emailbox,

in that new Email you see a HTML code.

Copy the HTML code.

 Now go to your space in mod "Edit my Space", and add new Entry.

In the new Entry press the <HTML> button,

and paste the HTML (code you copy from the Email) 

Now Publish

and copy one of this codes to get the cursor:

To get Crosshair Cursor add: <SPAN style="CURSOR: crosshair">

To get Wait Cursor add: <SPAN style="CURSOR: wait">

To get Help Cursor add: <SPAN style="CURSOR: help">

To get Hand Cursor add: <SPAN style="CURSOR: hand">

To get resize north west add: <SPAN style="CURSOR: nw-resize">

Now publish your entry.

Get 660+ Characters

More Than 512 Characters at Custom HTML

Get 660+  Characters, into Custom HTML.
 
Go to your space and make sure your in edit mode. 
 
Go To The Custom HTML, if you dont have the custom
HTML,
click here to get it.
 
Type 512 characters, and click on "SAVE" button.
 
Now add more than 512 characters in the custom HTML,
no more than 660.
 
After you type the codes in the custom, go  into the
INTERNET EXPLORER bar and copy this CODE:

  After you are done with it please read the following below..
 
 Go to your main/front page of your space in the Editing mode and NOT in the Preview mode.
Click on the 'Add more that 10 list' from your Favorites and a small window will open
requesting you for the name of your New List.
The rest follows easily in the way you  create the Custom list normally.

Adding Videos To Blogs

 
Add Streaming Videos To Blogs 
 
Here's how
  1. Add or edit a blog, then click the <HTML> link.

  2. Add the below code to your blog entry.

  3. <div><img alt="video loading, please wait" start=mouseover height=300 dynsrc="Insert your (.wmv) video URL here" width=380 LOOP=INFINITE  border=1></div>

    Code in orange= Alternate loading message
    The code in yellow represnets the object height and width.
    The code in purple represents the border around your video.
    The text in green represents the URL link to your video file.
    The code in blue prevents the stream playing over existing streams on page.
    LOOP=INFINITE Sets the video to repeat continously, or LOOP=X (X= 2- whatever)

  4. Click the <HTML> link again to show the normal blog entry.

  5. Click on the box that represents the video in place, and then click CENTER JUSTIFY.

  6. If you place the cursor to the left of the video box and press ENTER, you can add text above the video, like a description or personal details.

  7. Finally click Publish Entry button to finalise blog.
